A TCA Peel
The TCA peel is a medium strength chemical peel containing a chemical called TCA. We leave the chemical solution on your skin for a prescribed amount of time to encourage outer skin layers to slough off and reveal newer skin underneath.
The TCA peel is most appropriate for skin conditions like light lines and wrinkles, sunspots, enlarged pores, and hyperpigmentation. Depending upon the strength of the peel that you are treated with, you may or may not require sedation and a short period of downtime.
Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a type of mechanical exfoliation that immediately brightens the complexion, as well as treating superficial wrinkles and acne scars. The outermost layer of your skin is composed of dead skin cells and oils. While this material normally sloughs off on its own, it can build up and have a dulling effect on your complexion. Microdermabrasion works by removing this material.
Your microdermabrasion facial rejuvenation treatment begins with the use of a small device that we use to spray microscopic crystals onto your skin’s surface. These tiny crystals have an abrasive effect on your skin, breaking up the molecular bonds holding dead skin cells together. At the conclusion of your treatment, we will vacuum away these dead skin cells and the microscopic particles.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers like Juvederm and Sculptra can help to minimize fine lines and wrinkles by enhancing facial volume. They are also very good for filling in hollow areas on the face.
Juvederm contains hyaluronic acid and lidocaine. Hyaluronic acid encourages water retention of skin tissue, while lidocaine is there to enhance patient comfort during the procedure. After injection, Juvederm begins to immediately fill in sunken areas and skin affected by wrinkles.
The active ingredient in Sculptra is something called polylactic acid, a lab-created substance. Once Sculptra is injected, your body replaces it with fresh collagen fibers to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Microneedling
Are you confused with microdermabrasion? microneedling is one of the custom facials involving the use of a special device that creates microscopic punctures in the outer layers of your skin. After numbing your skin in the treatment area, we use this device to lightly injure your skin to trigger the formation of new collagen.
